Hana POT

Located at Warisan Square in Kota Kinabalu, Hana POT opened its doors in July, offering authentic Korean meals complemented with a panoramic view of the South China Sea.

A great way to start a Korean meal is with Banchan - side dishes with unlimited refills. Try the mashed sweet potato, eggs, tiny pancakes or Kimchi. The side dishes vary from time to time so check with your friendly server on what’s available for the day. Everyone enjoys a good Steamboat session in Kota Kinabalu where diners can communally ‘cook’ their food in a shared soup-base. There are two soup bases to choose from - Chicken or Tom Yum.  A variety of ingredients are arranged on a tray of two-layered plates including mushrooms, seafood and vegetables. Enjoy your steamboat with Bulgogi, thinly sliced barbecued beef.

Also on the menu is Pajeon; a pancake-like dish made from a batter of eggs, wheat flour, rice flour, green onions and various other ingredients based on your preference. Try out their Haemul Pajeon which is a seafood pancake mixed with shrimp and squid. Served with potato and carrots, the Dak Bokkeum (Spicy Chicken Stew) is one of the restaurant’s most popular dishes, thanks to the Gochu Jang (red chilli paste) which gives the dish its spicy edge.

The restaurant is able to accommodate about 120 diners at a time. In additional to that, Hana POT is the perfect venue for enjoying a glass of Soju or two. Try something new by ordering Somek – a mix of Soju and beer.

This establishment serves no pork.
